Cloud Technology Provider Grows 13 Per Cent With New Customers, Tech And Partners

Lincoln, April 2015, Selenity (formerly Software Europe), provider of cloud technology for people, expenses and contracts, has ended its April 2014-March 2015 Financial Year on a record high, increasing sales revenue by 13 per cent against last year and increasing customer numbers by 20 per cent. Along with 29 new NHS trust customers in the last 6-months of the year [giving a total of 179 active NHS customers, 65 per cent of the market]. Selenity also added new commercial customers including Hertz Ireland, Johnston Press plc and Agilisys.

Deborah Saunby, Sales and Marketing Director, Selenity says: “We continue to transform businesses through cloud technology. In the past twelve months, we have seen great interest and new customers using all of our cloud services. As a sign and indication of just how much value our services bring to customers, our churn rate for existing customers this past year is just 2 per cent.”

During the year, Selenity extended its cloud technology offering – Expenses for staff expenses control, Framework for contract management, Corporate Diligence for M&A activity and GreenLight online forms - to include employee relations case management through its acquisition of Workforce Metrics’, ER Tracker. It also secured its first two sales for ER Tracker including a new healthcare customer, North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

To further enhance its Expenses cloud service, Selenity signed a number of partnerships. The company is working with Global Tax Reclaim to ensure overseas VAT reclaim is as simple as possible for customers, particularly multi-national firms. It is also now working with employment compliance and tax advisors, emTax, to provide customers with a cost-effective P11D bureau service, employment tax advice and training service

Selenity’s Expenses Expedite outsourcing service won new customers including a UK media publishing and distribution operation. The service, which complements Selenity’s Expenses cloud service, takes ownership of staff expenses receipts - checking that receipts match submitted claims, ensuring HMRC compliance, digitally scanning receipts, and safely and securely storing paper copies. The Expenses Expedite service uses unique technology to make the scanning and validation process one of the fastest available in the market.

Deborah concludes: “This year we increased cash reserves by 23 per cent and recycled this back into our growth plans; this will continue into the future. In addition, we’re looking to establish more partnerships to complement our existing cloud services and to act as resellers. We’ll also continue to review potential acquisition targets that could enhance our proposition for customers.”
