Employment Law Changes, Are You Prepared?

Employment Law Changes, Are You Prepared?

With a number of new employment law changes taking effect this year, many pose practical and administration challenges for managers, HR departments and employers. Shared parental leave, changes to statutory adoption leave, the new Fit for Work Service and statutory pay increases are just a few.

survey by law firm Linklaters showed that 62% took an interest in taking a period of shared parental leave. The new rules will allow working parents to share their maternity and paternity leave in whatever way they choose (subject to meeting certain eligibility criteria).

Managing the complexities of these new requests amongst other employee relations cases such as disciplinaries, grievances and absence can be a tricky task.  One solution is to consider an employee relations management solution such as ER Tracker.

An employee relations system will help you to efficiently manage your employee relation cases, ensuring that the correct steps are taken in each process and that all relevant parties are kept fully informed and up to date.
