This week Selenity (formerly Software Europe) launched the 4th generation of it's Expenses system’s Distance Validation Service, Address+, with a whole new user interface and new features including an even more accurate validation of distance.

Over the next few days we’ll be highlighting some of the new features that we’ve been busy developing.

Updated Distance Validation

Address+ now provides customers with varying levels of service depending on their specific needs. This includes;

Service Name

 What do you get?

What does it do?

Postcode-to-postcode distance validation.

The standard service delivers the familiar postcode-to-postcode verification and is currently included in your annual licence fee.

International look-ups using latitude and longitude coordinates of an address.

For those organisations that cover the glove. Where data is available the claimant will be able to enter journey details for any country. It's worth pointing out that some countries can have very limited or no address data. Your Account Manager will be able to advise you of specific country availability.

Address and premise information. Also searches by company names, road junctions, points of interest and search any part of the address.

The Premium service adds a whole new layer of searchable locations making the journey claiming process even easier.

Even greater address level accuracy by performing look-ups using the latitude and longitude coordinates of an address.

The Premium+ service provides the most accurate point-to-point distance check available.

Interactive Widget

When we first started the refresh of the way vehicle journeys are captured in the system, we approached our customer base for their comments and suggestions. As a result of this we designed a new and interactive widget. When the claimant starts to enter their journey details a
new pop-up menu is presented on screen, which displays the address information in real time, along with any favourites and labels which have been created.
